Why EOS Rio ?
- Scalability - Scalable infrastructure that allow dApp developers to pay as the project grows.
- Performance and reliability - We focus on performance and reliability, bringing the lessons learned as a BP to the DSP.
- Low latency - Infrastructure designed to serve our users with the lowest possible latency.

What is LiquidAps ?
LiquidApps is a new layer on top of the EOS blockchain. Similar to today's web services, this platform layer allows dApp developers and businesses to rent resources on the dApp network. Developers can access cheaper resources to deploy and operate dApps on EOS mainnet using it. Those virtual resources, such as vRAM, are provided by DSP's. Serving as an EOS Hard Drive, vRAM allows RAM to act as a cache layer for in-operation data only.

What is a DSP?
DSP is a Decentralized Service Provider. DSPs provide virtual resources which represent real-world resources, such as vRAM. Many DSPs are EOS community members and Block Producer Candidates
What is vRAM?
vRAM is an alternative storage solution for developers building EOS dApps that is RAM-compatible, decentralized, and aims to enable storing & retrieving of potentially unlimited amounts of data affordably and efficiently. On vRAM data is permanently stored on distributed file storage systems, such as IPFS. DSPs host and load it into a temporary cache table on EOS RAM, until it is needed for a smart contract operation.
What does it mean to EOS Main Net?
EOS Main Net becomes optimized for scalability and decentralization, because blockchains should have the minimum amount of information needed to verify future transaction validity.
Only the necessary information is stored on RAM. EOS resources are utilized to cache in-use data and cryptographic proofs of the latest version of the file.
vRAM gives developers an opportunity to store their dApp data off-chain. DSPs will lease these resources, which makes the dApp network an affordable, efficient and scalable option to build dApps on EOS Main Net.
